My research focuses on the use of ionic liquids for gene therapy applications. I am currently working with AAV vectors to deliver therapeutic transgenes. The objective is to address the limitations of this gene delivery platform, such as immunological barriers to delivery, in order to fully tap into the promise of rAAV gene therapy.
