I am interested in (i) developing and optimizing the fabrication process for discoidal microparticles “backpacks” designed to clear a broad spectrum of bloodstream infections, and (ii) translating innovative engineering approaches to clinical scenarios. My research strengths lie in investigation of the complex interactions between cells and biomaterials, and leveraging these interactions to inform the design of tissue engineering constructs or uncover new targets of drug delivery therapeutics.
